"It could be described as a collection of things, people and places with which she finds a connection and can understand using her experiences, her pain, her dreams and her joy – sometimes stemming from long walks in random places alone or with someone looking for something that seems magical."

Giulia Agostini started taking photos around 2008 with a pink digital compact camera and later moved to analogue photography.
Her work focuses on the woman's body and its ability to express freedom, far removed from social boundaries. This quest is pursued - broken down and reassembled - through her work, by exploring the many ways in wich human existence inhabits spaces, spontaneously, romantically, as the ever present link between the dream and the waking world, always searching for references in other women's works – women depicting women's bodies – much more than men's, portraying women the way they see themselves.
"When I started taking pictures my body was my first subject, and then I moved to others. "
It could be described as a collection of things, people and places with which she finds a connection and can understand using her experiences, her pain, her dreams and her joy – sometimes stemming from long walks in random places alone or with someone looking for something that seems magical.
"It could happen that I wait and wait to take a single shot of a pink bus on a sunset on an Island or things like that."
