The play with fossils was an attempt to re-arrange history in some ways. When making those tiny fossils still lives, it felt like I was doing something incredibly monumental and magical.

Many layers of symbolism are connected to Ravens throughout the ages and cultures. My work depicting this particular species comes from my relationship with this murder of Ravens. These birds have meaning to me in my mythologies.
Making art is just one of the profoundly human endeavours our species partake in ; creating a photobook falls in this category. There is no greater relevance to this book.
