"Is it about bringing to the world the sweetness that I encounter in my daily life as a traveller. I think this is in line with my view of the world - to step back."

Project: Closeness
"In my personal work made during my travels, my photographic subjects are intimately linked to the experiences I share with them. This explains the absence of faces in my photographs. Rather than capturing images of unknown people I focus on objects, places and landscapes with which I have developed a sense of intimacy.
Is it about bringing to the world the sweetness that I encounter in my daily life as a traveller. I think this is in line with my view of the world - to step back."
"To me it’s about reconstructing the story of a cherished memory. The one filled with sensations and emotions.
Inspired by landscapes and the human form, my creative process is rooted in vibrant, electric environments. It's an exploration of the essential relationship between humans and their environment, synchronizing my living with the rhythmic patterns of nature. Whether capturing the vivid light of a sunset or being embraced by the warm rays of the sun, I seek to convey a profound sense of pure freedom. The aim would be to reveal a visual poetry inspired by the rich tapestry of my lived experience.
The photographs in this series were taken between 2022 and 2023 and were printed using an enlarger at Emulsion lab Paris."
