Bile explores Giorgia De Bortoli relationship with addiction to hard drugs in a specific time in her life.

The series of images she try to present fit into a messy and disorienting narrative that communicates mostly on a perceptive level. It aims to be neither a condemnation nor an exaltation of them but a visual excursus about the mismanaged emotions of teenagers seeking escape from adult life without succeeding very well. Bile depicts an emotional curve between escaping reality and attempting to reconnect with it. Familiar figures from that time emerge, like friends and the territory where she grew up, in a context reshaped by the altered state of that period.
